Tourist Seasons in Bhutan

Bhutan Tourist Season  In Bhutan tourist flow throughout the years there has been gossip about the best time to visit Bhutan. Off late, Bhutan opened the door to tourists and the amount of tourist arrival has been increasing year by year which shows there is not much of an exact date or months for the visit. But if you want to get your full holiday trip and have a memorable stay in the kingdom of Bhutan, the land of peaceful dragon, I would suggest or want everyone to make your trip during spring season and autumn as this provides you an opportunity to see the best festivals of Bhutan. The weather suits you the best with not much cold or hot as Bhutan being in the Himalayan region, there is not much to worry about the weather unless you are on trek or on hike, there may be few droplets of rains but you can still avoid the monsoon season of Bhutan which usually take place from June to August.

One might want to know again which months provide the most ideal trip or travel to Bhutan, October and November provides the best months with major festivals, in this months trekking in Bhutan would be preferred as ideal as the skies is usually clear and you have the best view of beautiful mountains peaks getting almost to the blue skies above.

The second best time to visit Bhutan is early march to may where touring and traveling are favored. At this time the wild flower and flora blossom which gives nature a wonderful place to explore, birding watching would be best as the wild bird life gets into numbers.

Winter is a good time for touring in western Bhutan, bird watching in the subtropical jungles in the south, and white water rafting in the punatshangchu and wangdiphodrang regions where the weather is warm. The days are sunny and warm during the day time and a bit cold during the evening and morning. When the Winter season in Bhutan hits during the months of December to February, the road from Thimphu to Bumthang and the east may be closed because of snow fall in dochula pass and pelela pass which is in the central Bhutan, the snowfall last for couple of days . I would suggest everyone not to make or plan trips to visit these regions as you might be stuck in the middle of a road and a problem for you.
