Marsyangdi river, rising on the northern slope of the Annapurna Himal joins with Mugling. Marshyangdi  river is considered as one of the best 4th grade rivers in the world–continuous, exhilarating white water with magnificent mountain backdrops. You have to drive up to Beshishahar and take a 4/5hrs trek further up to Nagdi to reach the starting point. Literal meaning of Marsyangdi is raging river in the local language.

Itinerary

Day 01: Drive to Dumre by bus, then drive from Dumre to Besisahar by bus or truck, whatever available. Overnight camping at Besisahar.

Day 02: Rafting from Besisahar and camping at the beach at the confluence of Chepe River and Marshyangdi River.

Day 03: All day rafting and camping on the beach near Turtle Bazaar.

Day 04: Rafting to Bimalnagar. After lunch, drive back to Kathmandu or Pokhara.
