Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal. Many locals as well as international tourist visit Kathmandu each year to visit different temples, monasteries and world heritage sites. UNESCO world heritage sites include Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and Changunarayan.

Chitwan is mostly popular for Chitwan National Park. Plenty of domestic and international tourists visit Chitwan every year for jungle activities and adventures like Elephant Safari, Jeep Safari, Jungle Walk, Elephant breeding center visit, Canoeing, Cultural dance and many more. Many rare species are found in Chitwan National Park which includes One-Horned Rhino, Asian Elephant, Royal Bengal Tiger, Gharial and Sloth Bear.

Lumbini is a Buddhist pilgrimage site located in Rupandehi district of Nepal. It is the birth place of Lord Buddha. Many local as well as international tourists as well as pilgrims’ visit lumbini each year. Many temples and monasteries are built here by different countries which include Maya Devi Temple, World Peace Pagoda, Cambodian Monastery, Royal Thai Buddhist Monastery, Zhong Hua Chinese Buddhist Monastery, Myanmar Golden Temple, Korean Buddhist Temple and Nepal Vajrayana Mahavihara Temple.

Details of Itinerary

DAY 01 :  Arrival Kathmandu
Arrive at Kathmandu International Airport and get transferred to a hotel. Our Tour Manager will give you the trip briefing upon arrival in the Hotel.

DAY 02 : Kathmandu
After breakfast, proceed for a city tour of Kathmandu visiting Durbar Square, a complex of palaces, courtyard and temples, built between the 12th and 18th centuries used to be the seat of the ancient Malla kings of Kathmandu. In the afternoon visit the Swoyambunath Stupa and Patan City. Swoyambhunath Stupa, atop the hillock is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal enlisted in the World Heritage Site. Patan City is an enchanting melange of palace buildings, artistic courtyard and former palace complex. One remarkable monument here is a 16th century temple dedicated to the Hindu God Lord Krishna, built entirely of stone.

DAY 03 : Kathmandu - Chitwan
After breakfast drive to Chitwan and check in upon arrival. Lunch will be served at the resort/lodge. In the afternoon proceed for a tour to Tharu Village and witness the Tharu Cultural Performance.

DAY 04 : Chitwan
After breakfast, your adventure holiday starts off with canoeing in the Rapti River where you can see Gharial and then, a visit to the Elephant breeding centre. After Lunch proceed to the jungle for a guided safari on Elephant where you are free to see animals such as rhino, antelope and other wildlife as you move through the jungle.

Day 05 : Chitwan-Lumbini
After breakfast take a quick tour of Birdwatching then drive to Lumbini. The Birthplace of Lord Buddha.Lumbini is located in the west part of Nepal. This is the birthplace of Siddhartha Gautam who later became Buddha (Gautam Buddha) and established Buddhism. Next fact Lumbini is a Buddhist pilgrim.

Lumbini is an UNESCO heritage site nominated for the International Heritage Program. Lumbini and Buddha is the symbol of peace. The main attraction of Lumbini are monasteries, Bodhi tree and pound, Ashok Pillar, Mayadevi Temple, pilgrims, performing meditation site, Lumbini Garden, eternal peace flame, Chinese Maitreya Temple

DAY 06 : Lumbini -Kathmandu
After breakfast, explore around Lumbini as sightseeing. The sightseeing in Lumbini provides inner peace to every one. Afternoon you will drive back to Kathmandu.

 

DAY 07 : Kathmandu
Free for adequate personal activities till departure transfer from hotel to the International Airport.
