In this tour programme you can visit Kathmandu Valley which includes Kathmandu Durbar Square, Durbar literally means Palaces is in the heart of old city Kathmandu in Basantapur. There are around 50 temples in the vicinity including the temple Taleju Bhawani which was brought from the Indian continent by Mallas with them in around the 9th Century. Patan Durbar Square another palace complex, Swoyambhunath Stupa, Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath temple and others.

Chitwan National Park (‘Chitwan' means "in the heart of the jungle') covers 932 sq.km, in the flat lowland region of southern Nepal, which is listed in the World Heritage Site of UNESCO and regarded as one of the best managed parks in Asia. It is one of the most important sub-tropical parks on the Indian subcontinent with populations of the endangered Royal Bengal tiger, Greater One-horned rhinoceros, Gangetic dolphin (Platanista gangetica), Wild Asian elephant, Gaur, Golden Monitor lizard, Gharial crocodile and many more.

 

Day 01: Arrival and transfer to Hotel.Our office representative will pick you up from the Airport.

Day 02: Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu with tour guide. Sightseeing spots are Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swyambhunath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar square and Patan Durbar Square.

Day 03: Drive to Chitwan National Park.(5 hours)

Day 04: Activities in Chitwan National Park. Activities are Elephant Safari, Jungle walk, canoeing, bird watching tour, Village tour, Visit Elephant breeding centre, Culture Program..

Day 05: Drive back to Kathmandu(5 Hours)

Day 06: Warm Departure.

Details of itinerary.

DAY 01 : Kathmandu
Arrive at Kathmandu International Airport and get transferred to a hotel. Our Tour Manager will give you the briefing about the trip upon arrival in the Hotel.

DAY 02 : Kathmandu Arrival
After breakfast proceed for city tour of Kathmandu visiting Durbar Square, complex of palaces, courtyard and temples, built between the 12th and 18th centuries use to be the seat of the ancient Malla kings of Kathmandu. In the afternoon visit the Swoyambunath Stupa and Patan City. Swoyambhunath Stupa, atop the hillock is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal enlisted in the World Heritage Site. Patan City is an enchanting melange of palace buildings, artistic courtyard and former palace complex. One remarkable monument here is a 16th century temple dedicated to the Hindu God Lord Krishna, built entirely of stone.

DAY 03 : Kathmandu - Chitwan
After breakfast drive to Chitwan and check in upon arrival. Lunch will be served at the resort/lodge. In the afternoon proceed for a tour to Tharu Village and witness the Tharu Cultural Performance.

DAY 04 : Chitwan
After breakfast, your adventure holiday starts off with canoeing in the Rapti River where you can see Gharial and then, a visit to the Elephant breeding centre. After Lunch proceed to the jungle for a guided safari on Elephant where you are free to see animals such as one horn rhino,bears, dears, royal bengal tigers, antelope and other wildlife as you move through the jungle.

DAY 05 : Chitwan-Kathmandu
After breakfast take a quick tour of Birdwatching then drive back to Kathmandu.

DAY 6 : Kathmandu
Free for adequate personal activities till departure transfer from hotel to the International Airport
